Background[]

Burton Crane lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He has been an amateaur boxer, a school teacher, and is the self-proclaimed "grandfather of rap."

Audition[]

Burton Crane's audition in Episode 703 consisted of rapping his self-made song, "Whatcha Gonna Do?." Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending him to the Vegas Round.








Vegas Round[]

Burton Crane was one of the Standby Acts in the Vegas Round. He was sorted into the "Rappers" category. His performance in Episode 713 consisted of rapping about a girl he is frustrated with for ignoring him. His audition was not strong enough for the judges to send him to the Quarterfinals, eliminating him from the competition along with Granny G.

Season 7 Finale[]

Burton Crane returned to the finale of Season 7 in Episode 731 to perform "Whatcha Gonna Do?" one last time, along with Trish Paytas, E-40, and The Ranger$.
