Eric Schwartz aka Smooth E was a stand-up comedian act from Season 8 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Vegas Round.

Background

Entertaining and energetic, Eric Schwartz aka Smooth-E electrifies audiences with his blend of stand-up, music and video. Behind this geeky facade lies a multi-dimensional showman whose creations have been seen on “The Tonight Show,” Showtime, E!, BET, The CW, TMZ, G4 and more.

In fall of 2011, Eric debuted as the host of his own TV show, “On The Spot,” which airs nationally in syndication on CW, ABC, CBS and NBC stations. Each week, he takes to the streets to ask trivia questions people should probably know the answers to, but they don't.

“E! News Daily” host Ryan Seacrest says he is “rocking the web” with “video that’s got everyone Googling.” Grammy Award winner Jason Mraz tapped Eric to create a series of comedy promos for his summer tour entitled “Grati-Tube.” 1

Audition

Eric Schwartz aka Smooth E's audition was never televised, but Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending Eric to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round

Eric Schwartz was sorted into the "Comedian" category in the Vegas Round. His performance in Episode 808 consisted of joking about how Jewish words spelled in reverse became similar Hip-Hop words such as "Oy" becoming "Yo." The judges did not send him to the Quarterfinals, eliminating him from the competition along with Jimmy Failla in Episode 809.
