Bad Boys of Ballet is a dance group from Season 9 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Quarterfinals, but it returned to the Semifinals as Mel B's wildcard pick, where it was eliminated again.

Background[]

Bad Boys of Ballet is a new dance group comprised of some of the hottest, most talented and versatile male dancers in America. Led by the sole girl in the group, choreographer Adrienne Canterna, each Bad Boy was hand selected based on his extraordinary physical abilities, passion for dance and sexy, six-pack physique. The BBB mission is to push the boundaries of dance and to deliver the most exciting dance shows in the world. The BBB style is a hybrid of classical ballet, hip-hop, acrobatics and more. [1]

Audition[]

Bad Bays of Ballet's audition in Episode 904 consisted of dancing as a group to Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger." Their verdict wasn’t fully televised, but, although Howie Mandel voted "No", Heidi KlumMel B, and Howard Stern voted "Yes," sending the group to Judgment Week.







Judgment Week[]

Bad Boys of Ballet was sorted into the "Dance Groups" category in Judgment Week. The group's performance in Episode 908 consisted of a hip-hop ballet routine. Bad Boys of Ballet's performance was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals.















Quarterfinals[]

Bad Boys of Ballet's Week 4 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 915 consisted of dancing as a group to Ariana Grande's "Problem." Heidi Klum and Mel B gave the group standing ovations. The act did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals, eliminating them from the competition in Episode 916 instead of Jonah Smith.














Wild Card[]

On Twitter, America's Got Talent announced that Mel B selected Bad Boys of Ballet as her Wild Card pick for the Semifinals, so the group returned to the competition.

Semifinals[]

Bad Boys of Ballet's Week 1 Semifinals performance in Episode 917 consisted of a ballet dance routine involving backflips and rocking out movements, all to Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way." Mel B gave the group a standing ovation. The group did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Top 12 Finals, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 918 along with Flight Crew Jump Rope, instead of Mike Super.
