Thomas John was a juggler from Season 6 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.

Background[]

Thomas John is the creator of Juggling Americana. It begins with a show of skill with classic three-ball tricks as well as some quick comedy. He then moves onto some five-ball juggling . The show then takes a turn a with Thomas' glockenspiel routine. A failed audition attempt for Juliard, Thomas plays a few tunes using only the glockenspiel, a ping-pong ball, and his mouth,an modern reinterpretation of an ancient Chinese art,and a partner finale involving machetes, misconceptions, and machismo. 1

Audition[]

Thomas Johnson's audition in Episode 610 consisted of playing "When the Saints Go Marching In" on the xylophone by spitting out a ping-pong ball onto the keys then retracting the ball. The act recieved mixed to positive feedback from the judges. Piers Morgan buzzed the act. Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel both voted "Yes," sending Thomas to the Vegas Round.








Vegas Round[]

Thomas John was one of the Standby Acts in the Vegas Round. He was sorted into the "Novelty Acts" category. His performance in Episode 612 consisted of juggling to "Stayin' Alive." His audition was strong enough for the judges to send him to the Quarterfinals along with Ian Johnson.















Quarterfinals[]

Thomas John's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 615 consisted of catching three launched bowling pins, juggling them, and then attempting to juggle five bowling pins while balancing himself. The act recieved generally negative feedback from the judges. Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne buzzed the act, although Osbourne buzzed the act when the perfomance ended. He did not receive enough votes to finish in at least fifth place in America's Vote, eliminating him from the competition in Episode 616 along with The Rhinestone Ropers, instead of Silhouettes.
