Background[]

Based in Las Vegas, Zuma Zuma is a group of acrobats that is fueled by pure adrenaline. The members, who are of African descent, came together to form a group incorporating gymnastics, jumping, juggling, balancing and contortionism. Zuma Zuma's act is fast-paced, but extremely precise. Their movements are high-energy and full of acrobatic ingenuity, with stunts ranging anywhere from eye-popping acrobatics to fire-laced limbo. 1

Audition[]

Zuma Zuma's audition in Episode 602 consisted of jump-roping, flips, and other acrobatic tricks to "Fire Burning." Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending it to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round[]

Zuma Zuma was one of the Judges' Favorites in the Vegas Round. It was sorted into the "Acrobats" category. Its performance in Episode 611 consisted of more acrobatic tricks such as "diving" into small openings to "Who Let the Dogs Out?". Its audition was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals along with Duo Aero and Summerwind Skippers.

Quarterfinals[]

Zuma Zuma's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 619 consisted of performing acrobatic tricks such as flipping and falling using two poles to "Calabria 2007." The act received enough votes to send it to the Semifinals in Episode 620 instead of Yellow Designs Stunt Team.

Semifinals[]

Zuma Zuma's Semifinals performance in Episode 625 consisted of performing acrobatic tricks such as limbo dancing and balancing upside-down on top of a stack of chairs to "Temperature." The act did not receive enough votes to finish in at least sixth place in America's Vote, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 626 along with Matt Wilhelm and Sandou Trio Russian Bar, instead of Team iLuminate.
