Jimmy Rose is a singer and songwriter. He lives in his hometown Pineville, Kentucky. After graduating high school, he went straight underground to start a job as a coal miner. He is a marine veteran, having been deployed in Iraq in 2005. His girlfriend, who supports him, is named Heather Morgan. He has two children. 1

Jimmy Rose's audition in Episode 806 consisted of singing "Coal Keeps the Lights On," an original song, while playing the guitar. Howard SternHeidi Klum,Mel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending Jimmy to the Vegas Round.

Jimmy Rose was one of thirty acts to advance straight to the Quarterfinals in New York without performing in Las Vegas in Episode 808.

Jimmy Rose's Week 4 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 816 consisted of singing Bryan Adams's "Heaven" while playing the guitar. Jimmy received enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 817 instead of Aerial Ice and Champions Forever.
