Johnny Lonestar was a trick roper from Season 2 of America's Got Talent. He was eliminated in the Semifinals.

Background[]

Johnny’s first professional job was a trick roper on the Las Vegas strip at the age of 20. Since then he has entertained thousands in Branson, MO at many of the 20 great stage shows including; Country Tonite, Silver Dollar City, Celebrate America, and Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat. Some of those shows have taken Johnny to Japan, Pigeon Forge, Atlantic City, Biloxi, and other venues across the globe. 1

Audition[]

Johnny Lonestar's audition in Episode 202 consisted of performing rope tricks and dancing. Piers Morgan buzzed the act. Although Piers voted "No", Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff voted "Yes", sending Johnny to the Vegas Round.

Vegas Round[]

Johnny Lonestar was sorted into the "Variety" category during the Vegas Round. His performance in Episode 205 consisted of performing tricks with whips. His audition was strong enough for the judges to send him to the Semifinals in Episode 206.

Semifinals[]

Johnny Lonestar's Semifinals performance in Episode 207 consisted of trick roping and twirling to "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)." He did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Top 10, eliminating him from the competition in Episode 208.
