Just Jerk was a dance group from Season 12 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Quarterfinals in the Judges' Choice.

Background[]

Just Jerk consists of choreographers and professional dancers from Seoul, South Korea. Youngjae Sung is the leader of Just Jerk Crew. The group has won several titles including: ASTRO Asia Battle Ground Championship and Feedback Dance Competition. It is one of the crews that influenced and began the 'Choreography' scene in Korea. [1] Its members are Young-J, J-Ho, S-One, M.Joon, Yehwan Kim - Gyu hong, U-Jin, Yoon Young, and Han Solo .

Audition[]

Just Jerk's audition in Episode 1204 consisted of dancing as a group to Liquid Stranger's "Ripple (VIP)". Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes", sending the group to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts[]

Just Jerk's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1207 consisted of dancing as a group to Junkie XL's "Maximum Effort". Howie Mandel, Mel B, guest judge Chris Hardwick, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all gave the group standing ovations. Just Jerk's performance was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals along with Demian Aditya.


Quarterfinals[]

Just Jerk's Week 1 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1211 consisted of dancing as a group to Chris Brown's "Turn Up the Music". Howie Mandel and Mel B gave the group standing ovations. Just Jerk finished in sixth, seventh or eighth place in America's Vote. In the Dunkin' Save, they received fewer online votes than Christian Guardino. In the Judges' Choice, Mel B and Howie Mandel voted for them but Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell did not, forcing a tiebreaker; whichever act had received more votes from America would progress. Just Jerk received fewer votes than Yoli Mayor, eliminating them from the competition in Episode 1212.

After the Show[]

The group made an appearance and performed at the opening ceremony for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

In 2022, They participated Korean Dance Group Survival called 'Street Man Fighter'. And they won the competition.
