Kelli Glover was a singer act from Season 4 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Vegas Round. She returned in Season 9, five years later. She was then eliminated in the Semifinals.

Background

Kelli Glover was born in 1982 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA as Kelli Michelle Glover. She first discovered her singing ability when she was seven years old and made her first stage appearance at the legendary Apollo Theater. After studying at Red Bank Regional High School for Performing Arts, Kelli began auditioning to find her big break. She was a semifinalist on the very first season of American Idol. After American Idol, she struggled with her emotions. For the past six years before her audition, she worked in a casino, but she soon aspired to make a second attempt at a career in music. [1]

Season 4 Audition

Kelli Glover's audition in Episode 407 consisted of singing Beyonce's "Listen." Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes," sending Kelli to the Vegas Round.

Season 4 Vegas Round

Kelli Glover appeared without performing in the Vegas Round. Her audition was not strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals, eliminating her from the competition in Episode 412 instead of Mia Boostrom.

After Season 4

Kelli Glover became a waitress for the next five years. Upon reflection while waiting tables, she learned she could be strong, so she decided to "take her last shot" and audition once again.

Season 9 Audition

Kelli Glover returned in Season 9. Her second audition in Episode 906 consisted of singing Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing." Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all voted "Yes," sending Kelli to Judgment Week.







Season 9 Judgment Week

Kelli Glover was sorted into the "Female Singers" category in Judgment Week. Her performance in Episode 907 consisted of singing Demi Lovato's "Warrior." Kelli's performance was strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals along with Anna Clendening and Emily West in Episode 908.















Quarterfinals

Kelli Glover's Week 4 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 915 consisted of singing Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You." Kelli finished in fifth or sixth place in America's Vote. In the Judges' Choice, Howard SternMel B, and Howie Mandel all voted for her, sending her to the Semifinals in Episode 916 instead of One Voice Children's Choir.





















Semifinals

Kelli Glover's Week 2 Semifinals performance in Episode 919 consisted of singing Beyoncé's "Love On Top." Kelli did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Top 12 Finals, eliminating her from the competition in Episode 920 along with Wendy Liebman, instead of Emil and Dariel.
