Leah Mathies was a singer and guitarist from Season 13 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Judge Cuts.

Background[]

Leah Mathies is a prolific young singer/songwriter, having penned over 100 original songs, including 'Mesmerized' from her 2013 debut EP which garnered her radio play across Canada and festival appearances (Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival, 2014). Her evolving sound, which refuses to be pinned down to one genre, takes her music to another level.

Leah writes from the heart, unafraid to explore the sad side of happy. [1]

Audition[]

Leah Mathies' audition in Episode 1305 was not televised. The verdict was not televised either, but Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes," sending her to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts[]

Leah Mathies' Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1308 consisted of singing an original song while playing the guitar. Her performance was not strong enough to advance to the Quarterfinals, eliminating her from the competition along with Hunter Price instead of Joseph O'Brien.
