Mariachi Nuevo Santander was a mariachi band from Season 12 of America's Got Talent. It was eliminated in the Judge Cuts.

Mariachi Nuevo Santander is a mariachi group made of students from Roma High School in Roma, Texas. They are four-time back-to-back Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza National Champions. [1]They are recognized as one of, if not, the best high school mariachi programs in the Nation by the top professional mariachi groups in the world. They are the only competing mariachi program to have two back-to-back "Best Mariachi Vocalist in the U.S." winners on stage.
Audition[]
Mariachi Nuevo Santander's audition was never televised, but it consisted of performing a mariachi rendition of Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer." [2] All four judges voted "Yes," sending the group to the Judge Cuts round. [3]
Judge Cuts[]
Mariachi Nuevo Santander's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1207 consisted of performing a mariachi rendition of Backstreet Boys' "Larger Than Life." The group's performance was not strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals, eliminating it from the competition.
