Shevonne was a singer and guitarist act from Season 6 of America's Got Talent. She was eliminated in the Vegas Round, but she returned for the Wild Card Show in the Quarterfinals, where she was eliminated again.
Shevonne Phillidor lives in Tampa, Florida. She sings and plays guitar. She is self-taught. In her spare time she writes her own music, draws, and DJs whenever she can. She also LOVES animals and has 9 cats. In High School, Shevonne was in musical theater and also loves to act and do voice overs. Her biggest musical inspirations are Michael Jackson and Prince. 1
Shevonne's audition was never televised, but it consisted of singing "Price Tag" while playing the guitar. It is unknown whether or not she was buzzed, but Sharon Osbourne and at least one other judge voted "Yes," sending her to the Vegas Round.
Shevonne was one of the Judges' Favorites in the Vegas Round. She was sorted into the "Female Singers" category. Her performance in Episode 611 consisted of singing "Let's Get It On" while playing the guitar. Her audition was not strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals, eliminating her from the competition along with Kelsey Nord.
Wild Card (Quarterfinals)Edit
Shevonne was brought back by Sharon Osbourne for the Wild Card Show in the Quarterfinals. Her performance in Episode 623 consisted of singing "Nobody's Perfect" while playing the guitar. The act did not receive enough votes to finish in at least fifth place in America's Vote, eliminating her from the competition in Episode 624 along with Yellow Designs Stunt Team, instead of West Springfield Dance Team.
After the Show Edit
- Shevonne had auditioned for American Idol in the twelfth season, but didn't progress to the next round for feeling she wasn't ready. She auditioned again for the fifteenth season, where she did advance to the Hollywood rounds. She advanced all the way to the final 51, but was eliminated before the live shows.
- Shevonne was the only Wild Card Act from Season 6 to not have performed in the Quarterfinals prior to the Wild Card Show.
