The Studio One Young Beast Society is a unique group of young dancers from Orlando, FL who see dancing as an outward expression of an inner love for entertaining people. Forming in 2009 the group ranging from 10-21 years old, were drafted from their larger dance company, Studio One Urban Dance Center. From acrobatics to every style of dance like poppin’, lockin’, street jazz, breaking, house and much more, the group’s true strength is in its diversity of culture and up bringing. The crew was created and is directed by Julie Johnson, Studio One Urban Dance Center’s founder and owner. 1
Studio One Young Beat Society was one of the Judges' Favorites in the Vegas Round. It was sorted into the "Dance Acts" category. Its performance in Episode 511 consisted of dancing to "Transcend.” Its audition was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals.
Studio One Young Beast Society's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 517 consisted of dancing to "Breakdown." It received enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 518 instead of Chipps Cooney and Polina Volchek.
Studio One Young Beast Society's Semifinals performance in Episode 527 consisted of dancing as a group to "No Plan B." The group finished in either fifth or sixth place in America's Vote. Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne both voted for it, sending it to the Finals in Episode 528 instead of Alice Tan Ridley.
Studio One Young Beast Society's Top 10 Finals performance in Episode 529 consisted of dancing as a group to "Outta Space Love." The act did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Final 4, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 530 instead of Fighting Gravity.

On the Season 5 Final 4 performance episode of America's Got Talent on September 14, 2010, Studio One Young Beast Society performed in Episode 531 as one of six of the "hottest variety acts from America's Got Talent 2010."
