The Glamazons were a vocal group from Season 2 of America's Got Talent. They were eliminated in the Final 8.

Background[]

“The Glamazons” started performing in 2001 in NYC clubs including CBGB’s, Fez, The Roxy, Webster Hall, The Supper Club and The Rainbow Room. The girls have toured all over the world. Highlights include; Italy, Key West, Los Angeles, New York City, and headlining in Branson, Missouri.1

Audition[]

The Glamazons' audition in Episode 204 consisted of singing and dancing to "Lady Marmalade." Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending the group to the Vegas Round.








Vegas Round[]

The Glamazons were sorted into the "Music" category during the Vegas Round. Their performance in Episode 205 consisted of singing and burlesque dancing to "Big Spender." Their audition was strong enough for the judges to send them to the Top 35 shortlist and to the Semifinals in Episode 206.








Semifinals[]

The Glamazons' Semifinals performance in Episode 207 consisted of singing and dancing to "Hot Stuff". They received enough votes to send them to the Top 10 in Episode 208.








Top 10[]

The Glamazons' Top 10 performance in Episode 209 consisted of singing and dancing to "Fever." They received enough votes to send them to the Final 8 the following week.








Final 8[]

The Glamazons' Final 8 performance in Episode 210 consisted of singing "It's Raining Men." They did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Final 4, eliminating them from the competition in Episode 211.








After the Show[]

The Glamazons were televised singing the ”National Anthem” for the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings October 28th game against the Philadelphia Eagles. In spring 2008, they were fashion campaign supermodels for Torrid’s 2008 Spring Collection, had life size posters in 250 stores nationwide and were featured in Bust, Seventeen, and Glamour Magazine. The Glamazons have been seen on Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, WNYW’s Good Day New York. WPIX’s CW 11 morning news, and WNBC’s LX New York. In 2010, they were featured on the Style network’s show “Whose Wedding is it Anyway?” as they toured the east coast promoting their album and planning Lady Finger’s wedding! The girls also opened for Joan Rivers at Milwaukee’s Gay Pride, danced in "Broadway Bares XX1: Masterpiece", a benefit Broadway Cares, appeared at The Shubert Theatre on Broadway for a benefit for Disney’s “Only Make Believe” foundation hosted by Sir Ian McKellen and were recently part of Scott Nevin's holiday show "Sparkle" at XL Nightclub to benefit The Actors Fund. The Glamazons headlined The 40th Annual NYC Village Halloween Parade (PIX11), Full Figured Fashion Week, and the Original GLBT EXPO at The Javits Convention Center in NYC. Most recently The Glamazons were the faces of Eddy & Bri (eddyandbri.com), recorded an original song "Hot Mess" with Drag Superstars Sherry Vine and Bianca Del Rio (RuPaul's Drag Race), and starred in the music video for Margaret Cho and Adam Barta's new single "See U Next Tuesday" (available on itunes). 2
