The Scott Brothers was a dance duo from Season 4 America's Got Talent. They withdrew before the Vegas Round. They returned in Season 7, three years later. They were eliminated again in the Semifinals.

Background[]

Michael and Robert Scott make up “The Scott Brothers,” a duo cartoon-style optical illusionists. Performers for over 26 years, they are the creators of the isolating precise robotic style they term 'cartoon-style popping, based on clean, controlled and precise movements ending with a sharp 'pop.' Season 4 Audition[]

The Scott Brothers' audition in Episode 405 consisted of dancing synchronously with each other to funky music. Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted "Yes", sending the duo to the Vegas Round.

Season 4 Vegas Round[]

Prior contractual obligations did not allow the brothers to appear in the Vegas Round.

Season 7 Audition[]

The Scott Brothers' audition in Episode 709 consisted of popping and locking together in tandem. Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, and possibly Sharon Osbourne voted "Yes," sending the act to the Vegas Round.

Season 7 Vegas Round[]

The Scott Brothers was one of the Standby Acts in the Vegas Round. The duo was sorted into the "Dance Groups" category. Its performance in Episode 713 consisted of dancing together with a classical music theme while wearing colonial wigs. Its audition was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals along with LCD - Lisa Clark Dancers.

Season 7 Quarterfinals[]

The Scott Brothers' Quarterfinals performance in Episode 714 consisted of dancing in synchronization to original program music with tricks that include standing back to back and waving their arms so it looks like their arms are connected and circling around perfectly still hats they are holding. The pair received enough votes to be sent to the Semifinals in Episode 715 instead of 787 Crew and Lil Starr.

Season 7 Semifinals[]

The Scott Brothers' Semifinals performance in Episode 726 consisted of popping together while appearing like mannequins in clothing and skin color. The pair did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Finals, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 727 along with Turf, instead of Joe Castillo.
