Background

Unity in Motion is a dance, gymnastics and contortionist act from Cape May, New Jersey that has performed together for about four years. Group members, under the guidance of their director, Stina Smith, practice six days a week. 1

Audition

Unity in Motion's audition in Episode 704 consisted of dancing as a group and performing acrobatic contortionist and balancing feats. Sharon Osbourne, and at least one other judge voted "Yes," sending the act to the Vegas Round.








Vegas Round

Unity in Motion was one of the Standby Acts in the Vegas Round. It was sorted into the "Kid Acts" category. Its performance in Episode 713 consisted of dancing to classical music and performing acrobatic feats like standing on two hands. Its audition was strong enough for the judges to send it to the Quarterfinals along with Danielle Stallings and Lil Starr.















Quarterfinals

Unity in Motion's Quarterfinals performance in Episode 720 consisted of dancing and contorting bodies as a group. It did not receive enough votes to finish in at least fifth place in America's Vote, eliminating it from the competition in Episode 721 along with Sebastien "El Charro de Oro", instead of William Close.
